Established in 1979, ABC Investments & Management Company has enjoyed continuous growth for more than two decades. Since ABC Investments first hotel purchase in 1979, Mr. Patel's vision & ambition has been to build a strong core management team. During the past 20 years what started out as a one hotel operations has blossomed to include the ownership & management of 12 hotels in the North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia areas. Hotel franchise names include: Comfort Suites, Hampton Inn, Sleep Inn, Comfort Inn, Super 8, and Best Value Inn Conference Center. According the Mr. Von Patel, "Our past twenty-five years speaks for itself and we are ready for new challenges. With demand, we feel the time is appropriate and our development growth is intensely aggressive. We see a future for our company, partners, and investors." In addition to hotel management and operations, Mr. Patel's other joint ventures include large tracks of land for mixed use developments. He remains active in tourism, travel and politics pertaining to the hospitality industry. Mr. Patel is a board member of the Tourism Development Board and also on the Days Inn Advisory Committee with Choice Hotels International, and is a member of numerous local and national organizations.
